About the event
This course is comprehensive Safe boating course broken up in two days of instruction, teaching the fundamentals of safe boating operations. Taught by NJ Certified Instructors with materials approved by New Jersey State police. Nj requires 8hrs of classroom instruction before operation of any PWC or vessel. This class includes the following topics: Cold water survival, Docking, Different types of boats and there hulls, Accidents & Emergencies,Boat Operation,Boating Related Activities.Boats & Motors, Equipment, Fueling & Ventilation, Marine Environment, Navigation, Numbering & Registration ,Personal Watercraft, Rules of the Road, Safe Loading & Powering.Upon successfully passing a 60 question test at the end of the course a temporary certificate for 90 days will be issued- 13yrs and older your will be mailed their permanent NJ Safe boating Certification card.All course materials given when you arrive at the class.
